Beauty and the Abominable

This modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast was created solely by Starship Captain Becca for the Winter Visual Novel Game Jam. It takes about 30-40 minutes to play. The game was made using Visionaire Studio, and the art was made on Procreate. There are still some bugs because I ran out of time, and if I'd had more time, I would have animated more.

Game Controls:

Click on objects and characters to interact with them.
Click inventory button to open and close inventory. Right click inventory items to inspect them. Left click inventory items to use them.
When there is on-screen text, you can click to skip ahead to the next paragraph.
